Some finished Brood - Lance Electra - 01-14-2018

Here's the first of a slew of pictures to come.
Three of the Brood.

I was going for an alien "bio-mech" look.
I think I did pretty well bringing out the mechanical/circuitry of the "veins" in copper...and the underlay of blue/purple.

This is just the camera on my phone...so the light/shadow and colours don't really read right...but it's good enough to give an idea!

Cheers!

Those are a really interesting choice of colors, and I grok your notion of what you're trying to portray. Might I be so bold as to suggest a purple ink or dark purple paint wash to add some shading effect to the primary color? In my experience it really does enhance the effect especially on biomechanical ship critters like the Brood, and oh, BTW, purple just happens to be a personal favorite color... Big Grin
